The day after we entered into escrow the existing Sonic building burned down. Our initial business plan was to repurpose the building but we had to quickly change course. Our team found a way to make the numbers work on a full demo and ground-up development. While we were not able to sustainably reuse the building, we delivered a store for our tenant in a vital high growth market.
