Zach Bonsall is a founding partner at CVP and manages the day-to-day operations of the firm including acquisitions, operations, finance and capitalization. He is a seasoned real estate entrepreneur with over a decade of experience investing in, operating and developing commercial property in the Western United States.
Prior to forming CVP, Zach was a Principal at Evergreen Development Company focused on land acquisitions/deal structuring, project management and raising private equity. Retail clients included Walgreens Drugstore, J.P. Morgan Chase and Kroger. He structured multiple joint venture partnerships and sourced deals throughout Arizona and California. As an active member of the firm’s capital team, Zach helped expand Evergreen’s reach to private equity and strategic relationships in Latin America. A passionate advocate for sustainable practices and a LEED Green Associate, Zach launched the firm’s green practice and helped secure work in this growing market. Prior to Evergreen, Zach worked in retail brokerage, overseeing the leasing of a 1 million square foot portfolio of retail, office and multifamily assets in Tucson, Arizona.
Zach received The Stephen Chamberlin Graduate Student Fellowship for the Urban Land Institute. Zach is a member of ICSC and USGBC.
Zach holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California Berkeley and is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences.
Zach lives with his wife Kelley and daughters Emilia and Isabella in Portland, Oregon.
